Public Hearing on the safety of immigrant workers will be
held to make public the alarming numbers of injuries and
deaths of Latino workers in the construction, temporary
staffing, and service industries. CWC Lead Organizer, Miram
Perez, is member of the panel and will organize worker testimonies
which will set the stage for new legislation in Illinois
to improve worker protections.
